He Sails

I will not look at my credit card

I will not look at my credit card. I will not look at my credit card.

If I look, I will not freak out. I will not freak out. Deeeep breath.

Now that the house sold, we’re pulling the trigger on some of the repairs and updates. Got a windlass, a stove/oven, electric head, new holding tank and plumbing for the aft head, DC powered TV designed for RV use, new kitchen sink – all in the last 2-3 weeks. Not to mention the amount I owe the guy installing the head. I’d do it myself but this is a electric one and I figure I’ll hire the rewiring stuff done. That would make me crazy. Once it’s done, I can maintain it.

Daffy Duck

I’m fabulously wealthy

I don’t know what my credit card balance is right now but for years we’ve paid it off every single month and this month may be the first time in a long time we don’t. Of course, once we close on the house I’m rich! I’m wealthy! I’m independent! I’m socially secure! Thank God I live in Texas! If I’d had a house in almost any other state, I’d probably be too poor to sell it.

Come on house sale, don’t fail me now.
